Druckwerk, the shop where I print
in Basel. The Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where I go to school.
And while we're talking about
Basel, maybe you're not sure exactly where it is? Here's a map.
(and a blog.)
In case you're in town, I hope you'll come see kammerorchesterbasel, Capriccio Basel or Cappella Gabetta,
with whom I've had the privilege
to play since I've been here.
My friends Robert, Macy, Jennie,
Carolee, Two Fine Chaps, Eva,
Aisslinn, Hannah,
Emily, and Alisa.
I
learned a lot about printing and book arts from Harry and Sandra
Reese, and a lot about Baroque music from Tafelmusik.
Books and prints I make are published as Aviary Press, and some of them can be purchased online.
In California, I taught at both
the San Francisco Center for
the Book and the Academy of Art University;
played with
two bands, the Crooked
Jades and the Pork Pies;
and I photographed some awesome books at Stanford
University.
And I lived in Oakland,
of course, which is a great place to call home.
